**Student Volunteer Expectations**
As a student volunteer, you are a representative of Nativity Catholic Parish and School. Many of our guests are visiting from outside our community, and your words, actions, and attitude help reflect who we are and what we value. Our goal is to warmly welcome others and share the mission of Nativity:
Love rooted in Christ
Education focused on academic excellence and service to others
Achievement through personal effort and perseverance
Development of the Catholic faith through mind, body, and spirit
Expectations:
Arrive on time and be ready to serve.
No cell phone use during volunteer duties unless approved by a supervisor.
Greet visitors warmly and offer assistance when needed.
Be respectful and courteous to all guests, staff, parishioners, and fellow volunteers.
Follow directions from teachers, staff, and event leaders.
Dress appropriately and maintain a neat appearance.
Use positive language and model Christian behavior.
Remain at your assigned location unless given permission to leave.
Be attentive, engaged, and focused on your responsibilities.
Work cooperatively with other volunteers and help where needed.
Demonstrate a spirit of service, kindness, and hospitality.
Take responsibility for assigned tasks and complete them to the best of your ability.
Communicate any concerns, absences, or schedule changes as soon as possible.
Help create a welcoming environment that reflects the values of Nativity Catholic School and Parish.
Remember: Every interaction is an opportunity to show others what makes Nativity special. Through your service, hospitality, and faith-filled example, you help others experience our commitment to Love, Education, Achievement, and Development in Christ.
